A modern take on the classic Stratton compacts: designed for a concept brand of sustainable refillable and reusable beauty accessories that evoke vintage nostalgia and luxury.

Process
I started with image references and my own two vintage Stratton compacts that I’ve collected. By taking apart one, I was able to appreciate the brilliant simplicity of their stamped metal construction. I moved quickly into sketching and iterative modeling in Rhino 3D in a rapid design sprint.
